To my ladies...
Andisiwe Mthengwane, Ziphozihle Aliva, Sivuyisile Silevana, Zuki Tom, Aphiwe
Mrazuli, Nomakhaya Maxhela, Palesa Mhambi, Qhama Ntsomi, Khensani Motileni,
Gcobisa Mzilikazi and Noluyolo Ngodwane. Having you guys as sisters has been
beyond amazing. Each of you portraying their own personalities, that keeps me
awake and missing each of you.
To Andy, Zipho and Sivu. You guys became our true friends from
grade 10. The level of understanding we all had with each other was remarkable.
The bond we shared is still very present even if we are distant from each
other, but I know a re-union is still to come. It felt like we have known each other forever. Your presence is forever imprinted in our lives. We understood the true meaning of friendship when we met you guys. We are blood sisters forever. You can follow Andy on her blog @www.blackboldvoice.blogspot.com
To Aphiwe and Zuki. Two lovely ladies I met in 2010 at Fort
Hare. Aphiwe and I met unexpectedly, I can’t even recall properly, but I know
we met through Gcogco. Upon meeting her, there was that get to know stage
*laughs* she was really weird and I loved it alot, I knew I was gona have a
ball with her. From then onwards our friendship grew, each year marking a level
of growth, not only as persons but Spiritually. I learnt a lot from her as far
as church is concerned and her courage was and still is very inspiring.
Zuki on the other hand, is a character herself, I could
write a book about her filled with Oprahs quotes, she can recite them in her
sleep *laughs*. I have reaped a lot from this lady, she has inspired me so
much. Was my tutor for first year and she was the best. She excels in all that
she does and I believe that she has a lot to offer for the country and the
world. My very own ‘THULI MADONSELA’. Love her. I thank her for pushing and believing
in me.
Nomakhaya (Bantwana), Q and Maleta. I hijacked them from my
sister *laughs*, yes her friends are mine and vice versa. Amazing people. So
real. So united. So warm. And so loving. Time spent with each of these ladies
never seems enough. Bantwana’s personality is so genuine, sometimes I just wonder
how she puts it together. She’s angel sent from heaven I tell you. She’s
amazing, beyond description, she is one of a kind. And has definitely been a
great friend to my sister. Love her for that.
Maleta, oh man! Where do I begin. Such a sweetheart, so open
minded, loving, extremely caring and very motivating. I love her. Always feel
like just looking at her and smile all the time. Beyond description. All I can
say is I see more in her, a whole lot of maturity that I don’t think she too
realises. Q is a shorty like me *laughs*, my twin when it comes to height. Very
warm personality. An immense love for children and family, she’ll make a great
wife someday. And has been a really awesome friend. I am grateful to being
introduced to her.
Then you have G (Gcobisa) and Mayoza(Noluyolo). A cheer
every morning is what I receive when I meet up with these lovely ladies. They
have been sisters to me, ever there when I needed them, even in my dullest
moment. Constantly reminding me of their presence in my life. Love you ladies.
To KNck (Khensani). The last born, our youngest sister. Very
determined, ambitious young lady who lets no opportunity slip her way. She was
the one of students who challenged me as a tutor when I tutored her class for ‘Introduction
to Law’, which was where I met her. From then onwards we grew closer and
closer. And bonded so much as lil sis and big sis. I see a bright future for
this Minnie pie. You can also follow KnCK on her blog @www.desideratanova.blogspot.com.
May the goodness of the Lord mould each of us, perfect us to fit in corners cleared out for only us to dwell in, and in there too Uphold the Glory of the living God. He willed it that I meet up with each of you. I thank Him above all! Love my ladies!
