Successful and going Strong: Dumi Hubela

Meet Dumi Siyakudumisa Hubela. Humble and a successful young man. He is only 26 years old but could write a biography about his life and success stories. There is much to learn and adopt from Mr Hubela. I have certainly been inspired to do more. After chatting with this gentleman I told myself I can and I will. Brace yourself for a very inspirational success story about Dumi.

Dumi is the son of Mr and Mrs Hubela. He was born in Cofimvaba. He has 4 brothers and one dearest little sister. He did his Primary and Junior Secondary Education at Cala Village. He then procceded to Nyanga SSS for his High School Education. After completing Matric in 2004 he registered at the University of Fort Hare for BCom Accounting.

He then moved from Fort Hare and registered at UNISA through ICB (Independent Certified Bookkeepers).  Enabling him to become an accredited Certified Technical Accountant through ICB.
In 2008, during the time when he was studying, Dumi registered a security company called 20 Tycoon Security. The company is a registered CC also accredited by PSIRA.

In 2009, Dumi registered a travel agent business called Gora travels. The company rendered some travel agency services to many government departments such as the Department of Economic affairs.  As he was growing in his business, he realised that he needs to have a business that will not focus on tenders. He then decided to register an accounting business called Financial Business Sense.

The company has its offices in no 323 Werner’s Building Oxford Street East London. The company provides Tax and Accounting services. Financial Business Sense will be launching and establishing a new branch in New Castle KZN towards the end of January 2013.

In Dumi’s endless of  to do list he is also embarking on another new venture in business which he would not like to disclose any info about it for now.  In asking him about his ingredients for success, he gladly yet confidently confides that his inspiration is drawn from the likes of Richard Branson in business. There is no doubt that there is much more in store for Dumi’s carreer.
His advice to the youth is “to take a step now and stop procrastinating. Don’t wait for someday or else you will never move”.
