My sister. My all!

I mothered, you mothered me,
We parented each other,
From infancy,
Inexperienced we became each other’s bedtime stories.

I was your, you were my lullaby;
Our comfort bore from our whispers,
During our whole night prayers,
Your word, to my word, our promise was to hold on to each other.

You parented me in all stages of my life,
Through trauma,
Rebellion;
Your patience loyal-ed me to love you.

I MOTHERED. YOU MOTHERED ME.
WE PARENTED EACHOTHER.
